camp infoEDH Scratch Camp has grown faster than we could have imagined! This summer we will be offering two weeks of beginner-intermediate Scratch and one week of introductory Python. We have also partnered with Oak Meadow, Valley View, Silva Valley, and William Brooks elementary schools.
Students learn basic programming concepts, variables, graphing, coding logic, and how to create computer animations as well as their own game using Scratch, a programming language developed by MIT. No prior computer experience necessary. Students are required to bring their own wi-fi enabled laptop with Google Chrome installed. Snacks, drinks, and fun will be provided. |
ABOUT USEDH Scratch Camp is run by Cade Richard, Alex Dean, and Braden Yonano. They are students at Oak Ridge who enjoy coding, technology, and teaching young, aspiring programmers.
